Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm, a family-owned estate in Ethiopia’s renowned Guji zone, spans 500 hectares with 300 dedicated to coffee cultivation. Since 2012, owner Ismael Hassen Aredo has overseen careful, sustainable farming practices, including shade-grown cultivation, natural composting, and meticulous processing of both Natural and Washed lots. With a team of 25 full-time staff and 300 seasonal workers, the farm supports its community through fair wages, transportation, and investments in local schools and infrastructure. The result is a thoughtfully produced coffee that reflects both exceptional quality and a strong commitment to people and place.
